Rashida's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies for embroidery, such as thread, cloth, needles, etcetera.

Rashida's story

Rashida is a 29-year-old, working woman. She has four kids between the ages of 7 and 10. All of her kids are going to school and getting their primary education. Her husband has a small grocery shop. Rashida has her own embroidery business, and she has been doing this work for three years. She makes beautiful patterns for the people of her community. Her designs are much in demand, and she has managed to consolidate a clientele that allows her to contribute to meeting her household's expenses.

To help Rashida to continue her business, she has requested a loan to buy cloth and thread in different colors, along with packs of beads and stones for embellishment. These purchases will allow her to cater to more customers, consistently. She hopes to get an increase in her income, by targeting more customers.

She is grateful to Kiva, the lenders, and BRAC Pakistan.
