Baceliza's story

Baceliza is 46 years old. She is a single mother who lives with her parents in the Flor de Café community in the district of Las Pirias, Jaén, Peru. She grows coffee to generate income to support herself, her son and her parents. She will do this by fertilizing and clearing the weeds from her coffee plantings in a timely manner to increase production. She also raises small animals in a pen, which helps to feed the family.

Baceliza has been a member of Norandino for a year. She is grateful to have been entrusted with this loan, and she is committed to work very hard and strive to meet her goals. What she wants to do with he income she generates is improve her home and plant more coffee. Baceliza thanks the Kiva investors and is committed to making her payments on time.
