Maria Del Carmen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy men's and women's underwear, jeans, shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses, and pants to sell.

Maria Del Carmen's story

Maria, 36, is a single mother to a son who is a minor. She lives in Cofraida, in the state of Cortes. Maria has her own business selling clothing. She sells sheets, jeans, shorts, blouses, skirts, dresses, t-shirts, underwear and sandals. She sells her merchandise on foot in the market in her community. She works every day.

She asks for a loan of 28,000 lempiras from ODEF to invest in the purchase of men's and women's underwear, jeans, shorts, blouses, skirts, dresses, and pants to sell. Her goal is to increase her customers by offering new styles of clothing, as well as to add on to her house and have a fixed locale for her business.
