Rosa Didima's story

The Junín canton produces sugar cane, an important role in the economy of this town and a product based on raw cane sugar and the liquor known as "Currincho". On the routes that go to this canton, one can see the sales of this liquor and sweet treats.

Rosa is 70-years old and married. She lives in her own house. She works raising poultry. She has a small farm at her house. During seasons, she buys a large quantity of chickens, hens, roosters, and fighting cocks that she raises for 2-3 months, which is the time until they are ready to sell.

After this time, she delivers them to some of the shops in the area, or she also sells them by the pound at her house or alive to merchants that come to her house.

It has gone very well for her. She has done this job for 8 years and is very well-known in the area for her good quality of animals.

With this new loan, she will buy chickens, hens, laying hens, vaccines, corn and food. She has been in the loan group for 43 cycles and she likes it because her business has grown. She likes that between them, their medical insurance is assured.

Her dream is to eventually have a poultry farm.
