Razia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to repair damage to the taxi that her husband drives.

Razia's story

Razia is a 39-year-old married woman who lives with her husband and two children in the area of Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Her husband drives a taxi which doesn't belong to him, and he has to pay a daily fee to the taxi owner.

Razia and her husband are shown in this picture with the taxi. A few days ago, her husband got in an accident while driving and the taxi got seriously damaged in the back and on the driver's side. The taxi owner is imposing a penalty on him that is outside of his earning capacity. Her husband wants to repair the taxi and fix the damage.

Therefore, Razia requested a loan from BRAC Pakistan, which is a field partner of Kiva. Razia hopes that with this amount, her husband will be able to repair the taxi and drive it again.

Razia belongs to a poor family. Her husband only has one job and does not have any other source of income.

Razia is very happy. She thanks Kiva and field partner, BRAC Pakistan.
