Bibiana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped To buy pigments for permanent makeup.
She first went to a bank to get the money she needed to start her business, but was turned away because of a lack of prior credit history. She came to ACCION USA, and because she was able to demonstrate a business cash flow, such as $3,000 from merchandise that she sold at Christmas time last year, she was approved for a small loan to purchase inventory.
With her new loan from ACCION USA, Bibiana is purchasing color pigments for applying permanent make-up to her clients. Each color pigment costs about $60 dollars. Although Bibiana continues to work as a hair stylist, her small business helps to increase her income. With this income, she has hopes to open her own store someday. Bibiana calls herself “happily divorced.” She is a single woman with an 18-year-old daughter who is optimistic about the life she can create for herself.
