Yone Taw-N (3-B) Village Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy goat feed and to pay for veterinary fees for the goats on her farm.

Yone Taw-N (3-B) Village Group's story

Yone Taw-N (3-B) Village Group is composed of five members: Mya, Sein, Aye, Myint and Aye K. This is a small village in Myingyan township, Myanmar, with 210 households. Crop farming and raising livestock are the major income sources for the villagers.

Myint (second from the left in the picture) grows groundnuts and pigeon beans on her five-acre farm. The profits are insecure to depend on solely because of the external factors like weather. In order to supplement her income, Myint started goat farming so as to cover the daily expenses of the family. Now, her goat farm is noisy with 20 goats and she is happy with it as it covers her two children's education fees.

She is willing to take this loan as she needs to buy goat feed and to pay for veterinary fees for the sick goats on her farm.
