Everline's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy cost-efficient maize seeds and fertilizer for the coming harvesting season.

Everline's Group's story

Everline is 43 years old and has six children. She has been a farmer for more than 20 years and is always said to be a very reliable person. Even though Everline is the only person shown in the above picture, she is actually representing her group formed by eight farmers in Sirisia District, Kenya.

Everline started working alongside One Acre Fund a few years ago, in 2010. She decided to do so because she wanted to have access to quality training and acquire new farming methods.

Since then, she has seen her life improve, especially in that she has had more profits from each harvest ever since. She plans to use part of the profits made to buy a cow. This year she decided to represent her group because she wanted to be more active in her community.

Everline’s Group will receive farming inputs to plant a total of 6 acres of land. Additionally, one farmer in the group will be purchasing a solar light so, with this loan, the group will also receive one solar light.
