Amadu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase brake oil, spanners, and other automotive spare parts.

Amadu's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone.

This is 30-year-old Amadu, from Blama road branch. He is married, with two children, ages 4 and 15.

Amadu runs a spare parts shop in the Blama road marketplace in Kenema, where he sells items like brake oil, inner tires, spanners, etc. He has been in this business for five years. The family's other source of income is from his wife, who is also a trader. Amadu says that the main challenge to his business is that sometimes sales are very slow.

He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more brake oil, spanners, and other spare parts to keep the business going. Amadu says that the extra income from this loan will help improve his family’s standard of living. In the future, he would like to see his business grow and open another shop. He thanks you for your support.
