Manal's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to cover furniture, decoration and stock, and first months' outgoings.

Manal's story

Manal, age 32, is married to a school employee and has one child in kindergarten.

Manal seeks to open a business to sell cleaning materials and disposable goods in her village of Tsur Baher in east Jerusalem. She trained and worked as nursery teacher before her pregnancy. She has also worked in accessories sales. She has received business training from MATI (the training partner of the Jerusalem Interest-free Microfinance Fund) and she now wishes to start a business selling cleaning materials and equipment. She sees a need for this locally (she conducted a survey), and wants to help satisfy this demand and to add to her family’s meager income, which is currently only 5,000 ILS per month.

Competitors are small general stores; she would offer better variety and quality. She seeks a loan of 15,000 ILS to cover furniture, decoration and stock (13.500 ILS), and first months' outgoings.
