A loan helped to buy duck feed.

Ah Se' Ka Lay-1 (B) Village Group's story

Sann is a mother of three children and is the leader of the Ah Se' Ka Lay-1 (B) Village group, first from the right in the picture. Together with her in the picture are Cho, Ni, Nyo, Thet, Thin and Wai.

Plantation of coconut trees in her 20 acre farm is the main income source for her family. But for supplementary income, she began to raise ducks two years ago and now she has 120 ducks on her farm. This income from duck raising is able to cover her family's general expenses.

She will use this Kiva loan to buy duck feed. She described that the major reason for her hard work is to see her children finish their school and graduate.
