La Cautiva Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase supplies for making chipas [cheese bread], such as corn flour, starch, cheese, eggs, salt, oil, and others.

La Cautiva Group's story

The group called Mujeres la Cautiva is in its first cycle of the women’s committee program, where everyone works and helps one another get ahead. They are in the poverty elimination program, seeking a better quality of life for their loved ones.

Pablina is one of the members of the group. She earns a living selling chipas [cheese bread], a typical Paraguayan food that is consumed at all times of the year. She says that she gets up early in the morning to make the chipas and then sells them in the streets. Thanks to her effort, she has been able to grow and get ahead in order to help her family.

She is requesting this loan to purchase supplies for making chipas, such as corn flour, starch, cheese, eggs, salt, oil, and others. She is grateful for the opportunity to be able to improve her business and thereby meet her customer demand.
