They cultivate crops, such as peanuts, sesame, groundnuts, tomatoes, and chilis, since this region is a place of rich soil, allowing these plants to thrive.

Thwe (second from the left) is a 30-year-young, single woman. Through these financial services from Kiva, she plans to buy farm inputs, such as seeds, fertilizer, and manure, so her crops will get more nourishment and produce an increased yield.
