Myin Thar-1 (A) Village Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the farming resources she needs before planting and harvesting, such as enriched crop seeds, good-quality fertilizers, and insecticides for each crop.

Myin Thar-1 (A) Village Group's story

The five women shown in the picture above are Win, San, Chit, Yin, and Khin. They are loan clients from Myin Thar-1 (A) Village Group, located in Monywa Township, Myanmar.

Khin (middle of the picture) is a 30-year-old single woman living together with her siblings and parents. For the family’s daily needs, her father and one of her younger brothers run a blacksmith company, while the remaining household members (including Khin) work on the farm. They grow peanuts, tomatoes, chickpeas, and chilies on their seven acres of farmland.

Khin is requesting this Kiva loan to purchase the farming resources they need before planting and harvesting, such as enriched crop seeds, good-quality fertilizers, and insecticides for each crop.

The other clients will apply this loan for purchasing fertilizers and more crop seeds. They are very grateful to Kiva for this loan support because through this loan, they no longer need to worry to purchase farming essentials.
