Luba's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to plant more coffee plants and buy organic manures to adequately fertilize and maintain her farm.

Luba's story

Luba lives in the community of Panchia Alto, district of Tabaconas, province of San Ignacio, Peru. Luba is twenty-nine years old, single, and without children. She supports herself by selling coffee, which she gets from her one hectare plot. She also sometimes works as a day laborer in her neighbor’s plots. She sells the coffee she gets in her local cooperative.

Luba is asking for a loan to put in a new area of coffee in order to increase the coffee production. She will also buy manure, necessary to ensure a good harvest in the 2017 season, making the most of the rains.

Luba has spent eight years as a partner in Norandino and she has shown responsibility in each of the tasks she has taken on.
