Oneyda Yamileth's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase shrimp nets so that with the earnings from her sales she will be able to support her children since she is a single mother.

Oneyda Yamileth's story

Oneyda studied up to the fifth grade and is a widow and single mother of 3 children.

Oneyda works selling shellfish, before only her husband was the one responsible for both fishing and selling the fish but, sadly, he died and Oneyda had to take the reins of the household. In this way, she has managed to get her children ahead.

A year ago, Oneyda was supported by a loan from Kiva for her work and, thanks to her work and efforts, she is about to pay off 100% of the debt. She needs a new loan to purchase shrimp nets so that with the earnings from her sales she will be able to support her children since she is a single mother.

She dreams of giving her three children a good education so that they can get ahead. It is not easy to be a single mother, but she trusts in God that she will achieve her goals.
