María Amparo's story

Maria studied up to second grade because her family was extensive and her parents could not afford studies for all. She is married and has five children of which one is independent while the other four are still studying.

She has been working in the production and sales of tortillas for over 27 years. Additionally, she has a small store from which she sells basic products. Her husband makes a living in agriculture and construction work.

She needs a loan to purchase corn and fire wood for the sale of tortillas. She also needs it to purchase everyday consumption products to sell in her small store. From the picture one can tell that the business is quite humble, yet it allows Maria to earn an honest living.

Her dream is to work hard to allow her children to succeed and have everything they require to get ahead in life.
