Maura Benedicta's story

Maura is 50 years old. Her husband died some time ago but, from their marriage, she has two children, ages 23 and 15 years old; the youngest attends school and still lives at home. The family lives in Charapoto, where the people are honest and hard-working. Thanks to her work, Maura is moving forward following the unfortunate earthquake that affected her deeply.

Maura looks after her home and likes to earn an honest living. She owns a stall at a local school. There she sells products, such as snacks that she prepares with a lot of love. Maura will give part of this loan to her brother-in-law, with whom she owns a business. Together, they produce homemade ice cream in a cart set up for this purpose.

This loan will be used to stock up Maura’s stall and to buy cones and products for preparing ice creams.

Maura likes receiving the support provided through loans. Maura’s dreams are to give her children the best possible in life.
