A loan helped to buy more supplies for her grocery store such as candies, drinks, and canned goods.

Obidia Mariela's story

Mariela lives in a settlement in the district of Castilla, province of Piura, in Peru. Mariela, 35 years old, lives with her three little girls who are 2, 11, and 14. She is a single mother. She came eight years ago from Chulucanas and opened her own store.

She hopes to expand her business. To do it, she needs capital to buy more products so she can give a better life style to her three little girls, who are the motivators of her life and for whom she struggles hard to give a good education. Her dream is to have a large grocery store, but she is aware she needs to begin small, which is why she needs to supply her business.

A loan to Mariela will give her the opportunity to expand her business buying candies, drinks, and canned goods. With the profits she is going to improve her housing a little and give a better life style to her girls. With her perseverance and enterprising attitude, she is ready to get ahead.

It is her first loan with Coopac Norandino and she appreciates the opportunity and the confidence that has been given to her so she and her daughters can get ahead.
