Kunthea Group's story

Kunthea, 35, is a garment factory worker who lives in the Takeo province of Cambodia. She is married and has three school aged children. She has been working in the garment factory to makes income for the past 2 years, while her husband have been working as a construction worker. These couple typically makes around 13USD daily.

And they are going to work by motor taxi and have to spend a lot of money on traveling. That is why now, Kunthea has led the group of three members to applying for a loan with Kredit MFI. She would like to use her loan share to purchase a motorcycle for commuting to work and family use. She sees this purchase will help her to improve her traveling condition and save money from the traveling costs.

With her saving money, she wish to run her business as a motor repairing store for her husband, build a fence around her house and support her children to get higher education.
