Rania's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped cover expenses needed for a second, urgent heart surgery for her mother who has no one to help her except her daughter, Rania.

Rania's story

Rania is a 39-year-old married mother of four, three of whom are attending schools. Since her husband has traveled abroad to find a better job with a better salary that would help his family, Rania has become the sole provider and caretaker for her kids. She started her own business 13 years ago in an attempt to provide the best possible life for her kids and be their mother and the father at the same time. Her home-based handmade souvenir business provides her with enough income to fulfill her children's needs.

Rania is a previous borrower from Kiva's field partner, and this is her fifth cycle of loans. She is applying for an entrepreneur loan so that she can cover expenses needed for a second, urgent heart surgery for her mother who has no one to help her except her daughter, Rania.

She has always hoped to open her own handmade gift shop, yet her mother's critical medical condition has forced her to postpone making this dream come true. Rania does all she can to help her mother.

Through contributing to this loan, you are providing her with tremendous support, which she needs desperately.
