Yamono Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheep to resell later.

Yamono Group's story

Djénéba is the one holding the sheep's leash [in the photo]. In the group, she is the treasurer. She is 30 years old and a mother to seven children, aged from two to 16 years old. Three of the children are daughters and two of the children are in school. Djénéba is married to a farmer.

Not having had the chance to go to school, Djénéba has been raising livestock for six years to cover her and her children's expenses. She buys sheep, raises them, and resells them to earn about 30,000 francs CFA per animal. She buys and sells her animals at a neighboring local market.

Djénéba needs a second loan with RMCR to buy some sheep, millet bran, and salt so that her work will be competetive at the market during sales.

This will allow her to earn about 75,000 francs CFA in profit, which she will use to clothe her children, take care of their health, and help her husband with the other family expenses.

Djénéba dreams of buying cattle for her children in the future.
