Karomat's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fertilizers, seeds, and plastic sheeting for her greenhouse in order to grow organic vegetables.

Karomat's story

Karomat successfully repaid her [previous] loan, after using it for its intended purpose. She is thankful to Kiva and to all the lenders who have helped her financially. She now has two cows as well as 0.78 hectares of land on which she grows carrots and cucumbers for resale. Eager to further develop her business, she has once more turned to Bai Tushum Bank and requested a loan of 50,000 som (KGS). She will use her money to buy seeds, plastic sheeting for her greenhouse, and fertilizers for her soil, in order to grow organic crops. She is planning to use the earnings from her loan to further grow her business. She would also like to save some money to increase the size of her irrigated land.
