Union Chretienne (A)'s loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase personal products to retail to customers.

Union Chretienne (A)'s story

In 2013, Sara gathered 35 people in her community to create a savings group. She learned the techniques from a local NGO, and she was able to transfer this knowledge to the community.

Sara's group has 20 women and 15 men who are involved in small economic activities. Most of them are retailing personal products in flea markets. Sara's group has made progress since its connection to Fonkoze last year. This loan will support the development and the improvement of the members' living conditions, as Sara's group operates in an area where 50% of the people are still living with less than $2 dollars per day.
