Tekoporave Rekavo Group's story

This communal bank is called Tekoporave Rekavo and it is in its firts loan cycle. The members come from the indigenous community and formed the group based on a good experience of the neighbouring groups. This is why they decided to help each other to get ahead and it motivated them to establish the communal bank.

Eldina is one of the members. She earns a living from farming in her garden. Every day she leaves her home early in the morning to sell vegetables in the area to return home late, and at that moment she gets to look after her plants and prepare the produce for the following day. Eldina is a hard-working person who fights and takes great pains to grow and get ahead so that she can provide the best for her beloved ones.

Eldina is asking for a loan to buy manure, fertilizers and seeds and in this way to keep doing her job and continue supporting her beloved ones through it.
