A loan helped buy tamarind, carao fruit, and firewood so he can continue his sales business.

Carlos Reynaldo's story

Carlos is 26 years old and has a grade 5 education. He left school because of his parents' difficult economic situation. He is married; his wife runs a business, and they have two children.

For thirteen years Carlos has worked as a mechanic, a job he learned with some friends due to the necessity of helping his parents with expenses. In addition, for the last eight years he has been selling firewood, and tamarind and carao fruit. He buys the produce, processes it, and then sells it in the capital city.

He needs a loan to buy firewood, and tamarind and carao fruit so he can continue his sales business.

Carlos's goals include providing his children with an academic education, buying a house for them to inherit, and buying a car to use when he travels to sell his produce.
