Anibal Antonio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase his business cash flow, and to assist more of the community with mobile transactions to access money.

Anibal Antonio's story

Anibal is a 29-year-old husband and father of two children and resides in Maputo. Anibal supports his own family and assists with the finances of his four siblings.

Anibal was left unemployed in 2014 as his contract wasn't renewed with his company. Anibal started selling appliances as bills needed to be paid. That business doesn't make enough to cover all the living expenses, so Anibal went looking for more lucrative ventures.

Zoona was able to offer Anibal an opportunity to assist his community with sending and receiving money via mobile transactions. As there is a lack of this service, the growth opportunity for Anibal is promising.

Anibal needs to ensure that he has enough funds for his customers or he would lose their confidence in his newfound business. With this in mind, Anibal is reaching out to Kiva for a loan.

This loan will help him always have sufficient funds on hand for his customers, who are receiving money from their family in other cities.

Anibal is more than optimistic about this business and grateful that he'll be able to put his kids back into daycare so they can learn and develop in their early ages in preparation for preschool.

Anibal thanks Kiva lenders in advance.
