Mai Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a motorcycle to transport vegetables and meats to sell.

Mai Group's story

Mai is 40 years old, a mother with three school-aged children. She lives in Takeo province, Cambodia. In the photo, Mai is first from the right. She is a businesswoman who has been selling vegetables and meats at her home since 2001, while her husband is a construction worker. All of them can earn approximately $18 daily.

Mai is a group leader, and she would like to request a loan as part of a three-member group. She will use her portion to buy a motorcycle to transport vegetables and meats to the villagers and a nearby village.

With this loan, she will be able to reduce her traveling expenses and increase her family income. Talking about her future, she wants to enlarge her business, build a new house, and support her children to get higher education.
