Vilma's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy provisions such as rice, sugar, noodles, beverages, and snack foods.

Vilma's story

Vilma lives in Centro Poblado Linderos, which is located in the District of Tabaconas, San Iganacio Province, Peru. She is 35 years old and has a 10-year-old child under her care. Vilma is a single mother who looks after her small grocery business. She says that she wants to make a return from her business investment, but her inventory is insufficient. In addition, she generates income from producing and selling coffee in small quantities.

Vilma wants to increase the inventory in her store by purchasing rice, sugar, beverages, snack foods, noodles, and other food products. She hopes to generate more sales and use the profits to cover her family’s expenses. She also wants to make improvements to her home.

This is her first loan with Norandino and she is grateful to the Kiva lenders for helping rural women.
