Gs. Los Parientes Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a solar energy system.

Gs. Los Parientes Group's story

Melvin is 32 years old and lives with his common-law partner and his children. His main occupation is growing coffee, and he currently has 6 manzanas [about 10.32 acres] of land under cultivation, which produced a harvest of very good dry parchment coffee last year. For this upcoming season, he expects to produce 120 quintals of dry parchment coffee since his entire plantation is well cared for. This work generates a very good income that allows him to meet his obligations.

Melvin is requesting the loan to buy a solar energy system because they don't have electric lighting in their house and they will be able to accomplish types of activities that they currently aren't used to doing. They are very excited about this new project, which has been one of their dreams. Melvin's dream is to improve his family's living conditions.

He is requesting the loan as part of a group with the following other people: Cecilio, Denis and Faustino, who all make their living growing coffee.
