Kenia Yahoska's story

Kenia is a 23-year-old woman who is very charismatic and hardworking. She makes a living selling children's clothing as a street vendor as a way to start up her own business and, likewise, become independent. Her parents and her sisters have supported her from the beginning because they know that Kenia has the potential to be a successful merchant.

She has knocked on Kiva's doors, alongside those of MiCrédito, so that she could be helped with a loan. With this loan, she plans to buy clothing, footwear, backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other school items since her customers are looking for these things right now. In the future she would like to be able to have her own store.
