Dos Amigos Ii Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy salty snacks, candy, and gum.

Dos Amigos Ii Group's story

The group named “Dos Amigos II” has been a client of Banco do Povo Crédito Solidário (BPCS) for two years. All of the members are entrepreneurs who live in Mauá-São Paulo. Josefa works with photos and images, Maria sells candy, and Michelle sells lingerie.

Maria José is the group leader. She is 58 years old, married, and lives with her husband in Mauá. She is a very determined woman who works in order to sustain her household. Her husband suffers from paralysis and is totally dependent on her. She takes care of her husband’s work and that of her household since she is a woman of great courage. Maria José has a small candy shop where she has been selling products for 20 years. She needs a loan in order to buy salty snacks, candy, and gum. In the future, she wants to have a larger shop where she can attend to her customers.

The group is happy to have the support of the Kiva lenders and is grateful for this opportunity.
