Zion Group's story

This is the Zion Group who have came together in order to grow socially and economically through trade. Grace, who is the woman at the front right-hand side of the photo, is a member of this group. She is 36 years old, married and blessed with two children. She sells food stuffs such as plantains, cassava, beans, rice and other food crops to earn a living.

The Zion Group has applied for a 4,600 GHS loan through Kiva's field partner ID Ghana. Grace will use her share to buy more food crops such as those named above to sell. This will increase her income and enable her to satisfy her family's basic needs such as food and clothing. She is happy and grateful to Kiva and its lenders for their love and generosity in their financial support.
