El-Shadai Traders Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy baby diapers, soap and toilet rolls for resale.

El-Shadai Traders Group's story

Rosina is a 56-year-old woman, who is on the right side in the picture, and a group representative of El-Shadai Traders. She comes from Twifo Praso in the Twifo Atti-Mokwa District in the Central Region of Ghana. She is married with seven children who are now liiving on their own. Rosina has been with the Field Partner since 2010, with an excellent repayment record for all her six loans. This is her seventh loan, but the first with Kiva.

Rosina sells baby diapers, soaps and toilet rolls in the local market. She has been in business for the past 25 years, and hence has gained rich experience. The business is her only source of income. Due to continuous civic education on personal hygiene, demand for baby diapers, soaps and toilet rolls has increased. Rosina has taken advantage of the opportunity and has decided to expand her store gradually with her profits. This allows her to buy in larger quantities to gain a larger discount to lower her costs in the future.

Rosina is requesting a micro loan as working capital to finance the replenishment of her store with baby diapers, soaps and toilet rolls. She will use the profit from the store for expansion of her business. Rosina thanks all her micro lenders for their support.
