Wara Wara Group's story

The communal bank "Wara Wara" is starting its first cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Senkata Regional Office. It is composed of nine members and is led by a board of directors, where Primitiva is the secretary.

The loan they will receive will benefit small business owners where Primitiva is a member. She currently has a business selling chocolates; she says the she learned this business by her own initiative several years ago.

The loan that she will now receive will be for increasing capital to buy chocolate at wholesale, which she will buy from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz, and afterwards for sales in her retail space. This type of work allows her to generate resources to financially support her family, since she is single and has three children.
