Cesiri Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bags of peanuts to resell later.

Cesiri Group's story

Awa is the woman with her hand on the bag of peanuts in the photo. She is a 42-year-old Malian, married and the mother of four children, including one in school. Her husband is a grower and animal farmer.

Awa is a creditworthy client of the microfinance institution RMCR. She has been storing peanuts for more than six years. Awa gets her supplies at the surrounding markets and resells at the same markets. The profit she earns allows her to help her husband provide for some of their children's needs.

Awa borrows money from RMCR to buy a lot of peanuts to resell and grow her business. In the future, she wants to have a large store and a larger loan to buy more.
