Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies to make chipa, such as starch, cheese, eggs, butter, salt and other supplies.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The group is called "Mujeres Unidas", since that is what they are: united women who are looking to better themselves and to improve their living conditions. They are in a program to eliminate poverty, where they all use their best care to make sure their loved ones are not without anything.

One of the members is Johana, who sells chipa, which is a typical Paraguayan food that is consumed at any time.

She mentions that she makes the chipa herself and that afterwards she goes out to sell them as a street vendor. She has already formed a client base who always buy the delicacies that she makes.

She is requesting this loan to buy starch, cheese, eggs, butter, salt and other items to be able to make chipa, so that she can continue pleasing her customers and fulfill their demands.
