Agustina María's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in fish, shellfish, cloth, zippers, buttons, thread, etc.

Agustina María's story

Agustina is 39 years old, engaged and the mother of four children; the two youngest are minors. Their family was a victim of displacement and the government offered her training from a public agency, where she learned to make clothing. Later she received seed capital to set up her shop, and also support for her other small business selling food: fish, shellfish, pork, and cheese.

Every day, Agustina starts work at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. Her principal clients are her neighbors, friends, and referrals who come to her home to buy a food item or to request her service in dressmaking or clothing repair.

Now she is processing her first Kiva loan with the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to invest in seafood, shellfish, cloth, zippers, buttons, thread, etc. With this financing, she will be able to satisfy requests in a timely manner. Please support her.
