Aura Vitalina's story

Aura is 63 years old, married and from this relationship she has two grown children ages 42 and 27. They all live and work independently She lives with her husband in her own home located in the canton of El Carmen, a community that works in the farming and export of bananas, cocoa, yucca, malangas (tubers similar to sweet potatos), and tropical fruits, as well as in trade and animal husbandry.

Aura is a woman who likes to help her husband care for the family in some way. That is why she works with him in his endeavors. They raise pigs on a farm that includes their house and, in order to satisfy demand, they travel to various areas within the canton to buy pigs that they take to sell in the city's markets later on. They do not have a set schedule but they generally spend 3 to 4 hours a day on this work, in particular for the care of their animals.

They will invest this loan to buy pigs, and feed and vitamins to maintain the animals they sell.

Their goal is to set up a store with a refrigerator to sell poultry and pork.
