A loan helped to buy sheep for resale.

Cessiri Group's story

In the photo, Bourama is the man holding the ram. He is a 54-year-old Malian citizen and a livestock breeder. He is also married, the father of eight (8) children, and illiterate in the country's national language. His wife is a homemaker.

Bourama buys and sells his livestock at local weekly markets. He takes loans from the RMCR to buy sheep.

After sales, he can make profits which range between 50,000 and 70,000 francs for a few months. He has been involved in this type of activity for more than ten (10) years. His income allows him to properly feed his family, to buy clothes for his children, pay their school fees and their medical expenses.

He is relying on financial support from the RMCR, which will help him to improve his living conditions and buy a large number of animals. His goal is to lift himself out of poverty.
