Kagemko Group - Geita's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming supplies, hybrid seeds for watermelons, to cover fumigation expenses and manure and increase her coffee production.

Kagemko Group - Geita's story

Lilian is a 38-year-old coffee grower from Tanzania. She is married with two schooling children. She grows and sells coffee to support her loving family and she's been in this business for seven good years.

This will be her very first loan request to Kiva from Tujijenge Tanzania. Lilian will use the loan to buy farming supplies, hybrid seeds for watermelons, to cover fumigation expenses and manure and increase her coffee production. She strongly believes the loan will be a turning point towards her farming success.

Lilian's biggest business dream is to become a successful coffee grower and keep on supporting her family. She will share the loan with the "Kagemko Group," which consists of seven members who will be responsible for paying back the loan in full at maturity.
