Ujasiliamali Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add more stock of broilers and layers, to replace the out-of-stock medicines, feed and vitamins, and to renovate her sheds and cages.

Ujasiliamali Group's story

Tatu is in her early 40s and is married with three school-going children. She is a farmer with a poultry business, raising and selling layers, broilers, chicks, eggs, chicken feed and vitamins to support her family.

She's been running this business for over 10 years. She is working from 8 am to 8 pm daily and is happy that she's making some great monthly profit.

This will be one of her many loans from Tujijenge Tanzania. Her previous loans, all of which have been repaid successfully, allowed her to increase the number of layers to raise, and buy more stock of feed and vitamins for her business to grow.

Tatu is happy that her profit has increased and her market has grown. As a result, she can now sell to more customers than before. She applied for this loan to add more stock of broilers and layers, to replace the out-of-stock medicines, feed and vitamins, and to renovate her sheds and cages so as to accommodate a number of chicks.

Her biggest business dream is to become a successful chicken supplier. She will share a portion of this loan with her loan group members of "Ujasiliamali" and they will hold each other responsible for paying back the loan in full at maturity.
