Mujeres Las Palmas 2 Group's story

Manuela is a 47-year-old woman. She is married and has 3 sons and 2 daughters between the ages of 16 to 31 years old. She and her family live in the community called Las Palmas at Suchitepéquez. She is one of the few women who work in farming. She has been harvesting coffee for more than 20 years. Since the land that she owns is very fertile, her harvests have been going well and thanks to God her income has always been sufficient to provide the daily food for her family.

She is requesting a loan, which she will use to buy fertilizer and agricultural inputs for a proper maintenance of her crop, so that it will generate better earnings when she sells it.
