Xavier's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to build a mill and buy supplies to sell in his community.

Xavier's story

Xavier is 50 years old, married and the father of two children. He lives in the province of Nampula, in northern Mozambique. He is a hard-working and honest person. He started working in agricultural production and sales when he was only 17 years old and decided to begin this trade because his parents did not have the wherewithal for him to continue his studies.

Xavier has 33 years of experience and has become a prominent man in the field of agricultural production and sales with approximately 32 hectares of fields under cultivation, with emphasis on sesame, beans and corn among other yield crops.

In 2010 Xavier built his first farm store as well as a mill which are the basis of support for his family, while serving the surrounding neighborhoods.

It is because of the dynamics of his business and the demands of his customers that he needs a loan to build a new mill and to buy farm supplies such as hoes and herbicides to continue providing services to his customers and expand his business even more.
