Yamono Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheep for resale later.

Yamono Group's story

Born in Mali, Assanatou is 30. She is the one holding the ram in the group of which she is the treasurer. She has four children, of whom one daughter. They are aged between one and 10, and none of them goes to school. She is married to a farmer.

She was not fortunate enough to go to school, and for six years she has been raising sheep to provide for herself and her children's expenses. She buys sheep, fattens them up, and resells them with a profit. She buys her stock and makes her sales at the principal village market.

Assanatou is a regular RMCR client who has repaid the four previous loans correctly, and now she requests a fifth to buy sheep, animal fodder (cattle cake, a bran of millet and salt) to make her business work well and to be competitive on the market during the sales. This would enable her to earn about 25000fcfa of profit per sheep. She will use this profit to dress her children well, to provide them with proper health care, and to help her husband with the other family expenses.
