Cynthia's story

Cynthia, 28, is a happy single mother with an 8-year-old child. Cynthia went to school through 8th grade and earns her living by selling cooked food in a shop. She sells rice and soup. She has run this business for 7 years. Through her hard work, Cynthia has been able to send her child to school. She enjoys the fast sales of her business and describes herself as a hardworking businesswoman.

In order to further her business, Cynthia has applied for a loan with BRAC Liberia. Cynthia hopes to use the loan to buy more ingredients in order to prepare rice and soup to sell. In the future, she hopes to build a house. Cynthia extends her thanks and appreciation to the lenders supporting her.
