Alice's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 4 piglets, 6 bags of mil-run and building materials for her piggery business.

Alice's story

Alice is 32 years old and married with five children. She lives in a rural community beside Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands.

She runs and owns a small piggery business and sells her products in her community and the market to earn a living. She has been doing this for two years.

With her previous loans, she was able to start up her business, meet her family's weekly expenses and pay for her children's school fees. Her business is running smoothly and she is making an income.

Alice is requesting for a new loan to buy piglets, bags of mil-run and building materials to assist her in maintaining her business. She plans to use her profits to start up a small general store.

She joined SPBD in 2014 to gain access to financial services for her business.
