A loan helped to purchase piglets and pig feed in order to fatten and resell pigs.

Khim Group's story

Khim, 40, is married and has three children. She is a rice farmer, and has been cultivating rice and fattening animals for more than ten years. (She is pictured first from the right). Her husband is 45 years old and is a construction worker. Her three children are a factory worker, a staff worker for wage and a construction worker. They all live in a village in the Takeo province of Cambodia. Together, they earn approximately 12 USD per day.

Khim, the group leader, would like to request a loan as part of a group of five members. She will use her portion to purchase piglets and pig feed in order to fatten and resell pigs. With this loan, she will be able to earn more income to support her family. She wants to open a small grocery store at home and save money to renovate her house.
