Armine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for supplies (ribbons, costumes) needed for her design service.

Armine's story

Meet again Armine! Armine lives in Goris town with her parents and 11-year-old son. Her parents are elderly pensioners, and Armine is the only breadwinner in the family.

She works in local kindergarten. She does love her profession; working with kids is her true passion. However, Armine, as a kindergarten employee, is underpaid, so to earn extra income, she has been providing design services for the past seven years. In particular, she regularly receives orders from the residents of her town to organize different events (birthday parties, weddings, etc.).

This is Armine's second Kiva loan. She has requested this loan to pay for supplies (ribbons, costumes) needed for her design service. Her loan has been approved within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF International. The start-up loan program provides start-up loans, with soft conditions, to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products.
