Sajida's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cloth in bulk for her home clothing business.

Sajida's story

Sajida is a 49 year old mother and she lives in a rented house in the area of Multan, Pakistan. She has four daughters and three sons. So far four daughters and one son are married.

Her elder son is an electrician but his income is quite low. So, Sajida has started her own clothing business from home to generate income so she can cover her household expenses. With her work, she has managed to gain a large number of customers, which has guaranteed her very good monthly sales.

She needs a loan to buy stock of cloth but has insufficient financial means. To fulfill this need, she has requested a loan through Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan for her clothing business. She hopes that this loan will prove beneficial for her business and it will remove financial constraints from her family.

Sajida is very thankful to Kiva, lenders and field partner BRAC Pakistan.
